The workshop of Japanese traditional drums for foreign researchers was held on August 17th and 19th at NIMS Sengen Site gymnasium. 12 foreign researchers tried to drumming Japanese traditional drums, wadaiko.

The wadaiko performance was exhibited by them at the summer festival of Ninomiya House on August 21st, 2009.
