The joint symposium will be held by National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) and National Taiwan University (NTU) on Thursday 18th April, 2024.

The purpose of this symposium, "NIMS-NTU Joint Symposium 2024 Spring" is to widen the opportunities and explore the possibilities of joint research among the young researchers in NIMS and NTU.
The speakers from NTU are young professors from the fields of Materials Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, while the speakers from NIMS are researchers specializing in polymer chemistry, catalytic chemistry, and biomaterials from MANA and Research Center for Macromolecules and Biomaterials.

The first symposium is held here at NIMS, and the subsequent symposium, "NTU-NIMS Joint Symposium 2024 Fall" is scheduled to take place at NTU in Taipei. We hope that continued visits and opportunities for deepening exchanges between researchers from both institutions will lead to new collaborative research.
