Satoshi Ishii, MANA Scientist Wins the Ando Incentive Prize for the Study of Electronics

The Foundation of ANDO Laboratory decided to award the 28th Ando Incentive Prize for the Study of Electronics to MANA Scientist Dr. Satoshi Ishii of Nano-System Organization Unit, MANA. The prize was set up to honor the memory of Mr. Hiroshi Ando (1902-1975), an inventor who established the basis for the development of electronic engineering in Japan, and honors up-coming scientists conducting creative and seminal research in electronics.

As a result of the selection, his research “Controlling light diffraction by meta-surfaces” has been highly evaluated as a research that deserves to receive the prize. The Awarding Ceremony was held on July 4, 2015.
