The "Atom Probe Tomography Unit" has been established. The equipment available in this unit is as follows; Atom Probe Tomography (Invizo6000 & LEAP5000XS) and FIB-SEM (HeliosG4UX). See "Equipments" for detailed infomation.

It has become mandatory to include an acknowledgement when presenting results in your papers using NIMS shared-facilities from September 2024. One example would be as follows; "(A part of) This work was supported by Atom Probe Tomography Unit, National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS)."
