For Beamline Users

Provides information for users wishing to carry out experiments at the NIMS beamline BL15XU: how to apply for beamtime, which procedures to follow, etc.

At Synchrotron X-ray Sation at SPring-8, material analysis by hard x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, high-precision powder x-ray diffraction, and thin film diffraction is available.
Research proposals are considered twice a year.
[Approximate schedule]
Term A (Submission deadline: the beginning of December, Beamtime: from next year April until July)
Term B (Submission deadline: the end of May, Beamtime: from October until February, next year)
Information on call for proposals will be available in our website and in the NIMS intranet information website, "desknet's NEO."
Those who wish to apply for beamtime, please first discuss with the beamline staff.

Types of proposals available

NIMS Proposals

Intended for NIMS researchers and research collaborators.
