VAMAS
Versailles Project on Advanced Materials and Standards
VAMAS, an international collaboration project to standardize advanced materials, was established by an agreement signed at a Group of Seven summit to promote economic exchange and global trade in advanced technological products. The project has signed a liaison agreement with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to mutually recognize the documents either organization releases. To promote international standardization, VAMAS submits standardization proposals to ISO and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) regarding advanced materials.
