Gradient-Index Optics and Concentrating Photovoltaics

I have restarted my research group around these two separate themes. I will discuss the work we have been doing as part of the DARPA sponsored Manufacturable Gradient-Index (MGRIN) program. Six years ago we began work on the optics of concentrating photovoltaic (CPV) under the Very High Efficiency Solar Cell (VHESC) DARPA sponsored program. I will discuss the work on spectral splitting and light guide (CPV) systems.
