RSC Publishing – Advancing the Chemical Sciences
The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) publishes a significant amount of the world’s highest impact research content. Learn about how RSC has developed over the past few years, how the RSC provides unique services to the community, and how the quality, scale and reputation of their journals have increased to rival those published by the ACS. The importance of Japan to RSC publishing activities will be highlighted, recognising the quality and depth of scientific research undertaken in this important country.
The RSC publishes 34 high impact journals, about 100 new books each year, and two highly acclaimed magazines. In addition, the RSC provides free access to ChemSpider, a structure searchable database of over 26 million compounds.
Today we will hear about how the RSC has recently developed, their plans for the future, and how Japan, and Japanese research, plays a significant part in these developments.
