Research and development in Nano Functionality Integration Group

We develop novel techniques and methodologies toward the realization of novel nanosystems for future information technology; development and application of multiple-scanning-probe microscopes, manipulation of individual atoms and molecules, and preparation and characterizaton of various nanomaterials and nanostructures.

In this presentation, we report the latest development on a conversion of a quadruple-scanning-probe (QSP) "tunneling" microscope to a QSP "force" microscope, single-molecule-level multistate memory operation, characteristics of stacking-fault induced low dimensional structures, and several other interesting results.
