ICYS Research Fellow Dr. Yutaro TAKEUCHI's research project has been selected for the 2024 "PRESTO" program of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). PRESTO is a network-based research program that aim to promote unique and challenging, internationally high-level basic research to address the important problems facing our country and to produce creative and innovative technology seeds (new technology seeds) based on new scientific knowledge as a source of scientific and technological innovation that can transform society and the economy.
A wide range of diverse research projects are adapted, and networks are formed with researchers in different fields. This is an opportunity for young researchers to promote independent research, and there is a variety of support to foster growth. In addition, with the support of advisors with researchers and the development of their research environment are also supported.
