Call for Graduate Students & Internship Students

The University of Tsukuba-NIMS Joint Graduate School of Biomedical Materials Laboratory, where Prof. Taguchi works as a faculty member, is recruiting graduate students (master /doctor degree). “Graduate School of Science and Technology, University of Tsukuba, Japan (Applied Science and Engineering Degree Program / NIMS Joint Materials and Materials Engineering Subprogram)” is a collaboration between the National Institute for Materials Science and the University of Tsukuba. It is a graduate school operated by Affiliated graduate students can conduct research at the National Institute for Materials Science while enrolled in the graduate school of the University of Tsukuba.

Our laboratory has accepted foreign research students from various universities, including Tokyo University of Science and Shibaura Institute of Technology, and they have gone on to graduate schools, companies, and civil servants. There is a system called the NIMS Junior Researcher System, which pays wages (no repayment required) to graduate students with excellent research abilities, so that they can devote themselves to research without worrying about their livelihoods.
In addition, you can experience NIMS research within 60 days using the NIMS internship program.
