All-solid-state battery

Chemical and electrochemical instabilities at the interface and an increase in ionic conduction resistance are major problems in all solid state cells with sulfide electrolyte systems. The oxide electrolyte system has a higher electrochemical stability than the sulfide system, but has a lower ionic conductivity. We therefore propose a new method to clarify the stability of interfaces between electrolyte materials and the microscopic mechanism of ion transport for experimental and industrial purposes.
