Facility Use Policy

Our high magnetic field facilities are open for those who aspire to the new research.
We are willing to explore collaborative research opportunities.

Joint Use

Under the joint use system, the user agrees to the provisions of a joint research agreement and is allowed to use the TML facilities free of charge. The research outcomes and resulting intellectual property rights are in principle jointly owned with NIMS. Users are required to submit a research report for each fiscal year.

External Use

Under the external use system, incorporated research institutes use TML facilities on a fee basis. The user is not required to disclose the results of research, and any resulting intellectual property rights are owned solely by the user.
