The 55th (FY2024) Mitsubishi Foundation Grants-in-Aid for Natural Sciences in the Young Investigator Grant category has been decided! This grant supports young researchers who have been working for less than 10 years after obtaining their Ph.D. degrees and are expected to conduct challenging research.

Our research aims to develop a technology to introduce luminescent centers at will and to fabricate quantum optical devices using this technology. Quantum optical devices are expected to play an important role in future communication and computing technologies. If this research is successful, it will dramatically improve the performance of quantum optical devices and open up new application fields.
