Prof. Kazuhiro Hono, NIMS Fellow, was awarded the 27th Tsukuba Prize at Awarding Ceremony of the Leo Esaki Prize and the Tsukuba Prize held on November 22nd. The award is for his research theme;
Development of advanced magnetic materials by nanostructure control.
Tsukuba Prize was established in 1989 to contribute to the advancement of science and technology by honoring a researcher working in Ibaraki Prefecture who has received international acclaim for remarkable results in the field of science technology.
