Dr. Masamitsu Hayashi, Senior Researcher of the Spintronics Group, was selected as the recipient of the 16th Sir Martin Wood Award from the Millennium Science Forum for his seminal study on "Effective field measurements and spin torque dynamics in magnetic nanostructures". The award ceremony will be held on November 5, 2014 at the British Embassy in Japan.
