The Japan Institute of Metals and Materials(JIM) has announced that Kazuhiro Hono, Director of Magnetic Materials Unit, NIMS, is the winner of the 20^th Masumoto Hakaru Award. The award ceremony will be held during the 2014 JIM Spring Meeting at Tokyo Institute of Technology on March 21, followed by an award lecture at 1:00 pm in session C on magnetic recording materials.
"The Japan Institute of Metals and Materials Masumoto Hakaru Award" is the honor given to JIM members who made distinguished achievements on basic or applied researches on functional materials.
