Prof. Kazuhiro Hono was awarded Honorary Membership of
The Indian Institute of Metals at the 67
th Annual Technical Meeting for the Indian Institute of Metals held at the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) on November 15, 2013. This is the highest honor of the Indian Institute of Metals and only less than 20 honorary memberships were awarded to non-Indian scientists. He is the 2nd Japanese that received the honor.
