Kazuhiro Hono, Director of Magnetic Materials Unit, was awarded the MSJ Achievement Award, from the Magnetic Society of Japan on September 4, 2013 at the 37th Annual Conference on Magnetics in Japan held in Sapporo. The citation of the award is "Studies on microstructure-property relationships of magnetic materials".
