- We had a welcome party for Anton and Alex.
- Mr. Alexandre Jean (NIMS internship student, Canada) has joined our group.
- Mr. Anton Bauer (NIMS internship student, Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, Republic of Austria) has joined our group.
- Mr. Anwar left NIMS and returned to Indonesia.
- Johannes finished his internship at NIMS and returned to Germany.
- Johannes, Dr. Hama (NARO) and I visited Oarai, Ibaraki. We had sushi at the Naka-minato fish market, visited the Isomae Shrine, and swam on the Oarai Sun-beach.
- We had a farewell BBW for Rian-san. Prof. Hashimoto, Shinshu University and Dr. Hama, NARO, and Prof. Ye, Lund University also join the BBQ. We played a card game, too. It was fun.
- Dr. Yoshikawa and Mr. Werner hiked the Shosenkyo. Mt. Fuji was very beautiful.
- Dr. Yoshikawa and Dr. Huyng visited Monash University, Melbourne.
