by the high magnetic field technology at the highest level in the world.

The foundation of the Tsukuba Magnet Laboratory (TML) in 1993 was inspired by the potential of the development in superconductors we have carried out since 1960's. We have always developed world-leading superconductors that allow us to build world-leading superconducting magnets. Consequently, we are now operating extraordinary high-field magnets at TML, and many of these magnets are based on our own technology.
