Materials Data Platform

Supporting Your Materials Research through the Power of Digital Technologies

Materials Data Platform provides support for data-driven materials research by providing DICE, a system that comprehensively handles creation, accumulation, and utilization of materials data.

DICE includes "MatNavi," one of the world's largest materials databases; "RDE," which structures, stores, and shares research data; "MDR," a repository of materials-related literature and data; "pinax," an analysis system with AI functions; and "MInt," an integrated platform for industry-academia-government collaboration. We provide data services to encourage efficiency, speed, and sophistication in materials development.

We also create and utilize NIMS original data, such as material reliability data obtained from long-term and continuous creep tests and large-scale numerical simulation data from the Numerical Materials Simulator.

Our team of experts consisting of six units will support your digital transformation in materials research.
