Abstract：
In this talk, I will present following topics:
i) The local (Udine) environment: academic + industry in the field of metals
ii) How we use your fantastic Calphad NIMS database with students in my courses
iii) Perspectives of collaborations of my university and possibly other Italian organizations with NIMS
iv) Perspectives of activities in the field of Xtb project for Calphad thermodynamic databases
v) Initiative Steel for Future with expertise such as prof. HDKH Bhadeshia
and more activities will be explained.
