講演要旨/Abstract：
1980年大学4年生時に与えられた卒業研究テーマは、強相間電子系の１つであるCeモノプニクタイトのフェルミ面研究でした。その当時、強相間電子系では難しいとされていた量子振動を世界で初めて観測した感動が忘れられず、研究人生の道に迷い込んでしまいました。その間、多くの方々との出会いを通して、好奇心と勘を羅針盤にしながら、物性研究者として歩ませていただきました。この３月末に定年を迎えるにあたり、研究者人生38年間、何とか生き延びた一研究者の小さな歴史の中から、強磁場と量子ビームに係わるお話を中心お話させていただきたいと思います。
My graduation research theme given at the 4th grade of university in 1980 was Fermi surface study on Ce monopnictides which belong to the strongly correlated electron systems. I have got lost in the way of research life with keeping the impression of observing quantum oscillation for the first time in the world, which was considered to be difficult in these systems. I have enjoyed my research life as a condensed matter physicist through my compass of curiosity and hunch through encounter with many people. In reaching retirement age at the end of March, I would like to focus on my research activities for high-field and quantum beam in my research life for 38 years.
