General Information

Scope:

Vortex physics is one of the research fields of condensed-matter physics, which experienced great developments since the discovery of high-temperature superconductivity in cuprates 20 years ago. In order to discuss the hot topics in this active field and to make an outlook for the future, we are going to organize an international workshop. While the scope of the workshop is quite wide, our primary concern will be phase diagram, dynamics, and novel applications of superconductivity vortex. We will have a pre-workshop tutorial school for students and young scientists, focusing on the vortex physics and beyond. You are very welcome to the workshop and the school.

Venue:

Lecture Hall, 1F of Main Building, Sengen Site,
National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS),
Sengen 1-2-1, Tsukuba, Ibaraki 305-0047, Japan

Access Map to NIMS is here. The main building is located in front of the main gate.
