Our group is carrying out research that is related to the structural control
of transformation phases leading to the production of high performance
steels. There are various types of transformation phases in steels, and
our research has been focusing on the formation and structure of maetensitic
transformation, reconstructive transformation, precipitation, and recrystallization. Nowadays, we are promoting our research with an emphasis on the structural
control of second phase particles in high strength steels with the target
of achieving a higher resistance to damage.
