Symposium D-8: "2nd International Conference on Materials Processing for Properties and Performance (2nd MP3)"
Co-organized by Institute of Materials, East Asia
Scope
The purpose of the symposium is to bring together state-of-the-art developments on all aspects related to the processing of advanced materials covering metals, ceramics, polymers, and thin films and also surface modification technologies. The symposium provides an attractive forum for presenting the latest advances in materials processing and materials evaluation by researchers and engineers. The 3rd International Symposium on Spark Plasma Sintering (ISSPS-3) will be held in conjunction with the 2nd MP3. This annual symposium series aims to function as an international forum for recent advances in topics pertinent to the development of the SPS technology. This involves modeling of SPS processes, diagnostics, materials design, and new applications to SPS technology.
Topics of interest include, but are not restricted to
* Bioactive Coatings * Cellular Materials
* Innovative Materials Processing * Materials for Fuel Cells
* Metal and Ceramic Foams * Porous Materials
* Powder Processing Science * Rapid Sintering Technology
* Surface Coatings Technology * Spark Plasma Sintering Technology
* Thin Films (CVD, PVD, sol-gel, etc)
