Symposium D-5: "Bulk Glassy Alloys"

Scope
Bulk glassy alloys have been much attracted attention due to their interesting properties for structural and functional uses as well as fundamental aspects. Recently, substantial advantages have been achieved in clarifying the mechanism of high glass-forming ability and synthesizing new bulk glassy alloys with unique properties. These improvements also lead these materials to be more new and exciting class as a research subject. The objectives of this symposium are to discuss and share recent achievements in both fundamentals and applications of bulk glassy alloys. Pease take a contact with chairpersons and get detailed information.

Topics
*Synthesis and processing of bulk glassy alloy
*Glass-forming ability and phase transformation
*Composites and nanocrystalline materials based on bulk glassy alloys
*Mechanical behavior of bulk glassy alloys
*Physical and chemical properties such as magnetic, electric, thermal properties and corrosion behavior
*Manufacturing techniques and industrial applications
