Pre-Assembly seminar Japan- Slovak in Bratislava −Recent development in welding−

The seminar concerning the latest welding technology was held by the corporate planning of the Steel Research Center（SRC）, Welding research institute-industrial institute of Slovak Republic（VUZ）, and Joining and Welding Research Institute of Osaka University（JWRI）. The latest data concerning welding technologies were discussed. The concept of Hybrid- low transformation temperature welding material and the new stable welding process in pure Ar gas were reported from NIMS. The residual stress measurement result of welded joints using the neutron diffraction method was reported as a result of an international joint research of VUZ and NIMS. The method of measuring the residual stress that used the neutron diffraction from Institute of nuclear physics of Czech Republic was discussed. We had active discussion about latest welding technology in Europe.
