Static Sequences
Precisely controlled covalent molecular sequences are ubiquitous in nature. It would be a fundamental question why they are and what are their advantages and unique features, particularly from chemistry points of view.
Having such questions in mind, we are exploring the science of still rather rare synthetic molecular sequences by using metal complexes and peptides as the structural components. One of our basic strategies to conduct this project is to hybridize the natural and synthetic molecular sequences to find out anything unprecedented.
