The 10th Steering Committee Meeting

The NIMS-SG 10th COE Steering Committee was held on 5th March, 2015, at the Saint-Gobain HQ in Paris, after the 9th Committee held in October 2014 at NIMS. From Saint-Gobain side, Dr. Didier Roux (Vice-president: R & D Director), Dr. Bernadette Charleux (Deputy R & D Director), Dr. Vladimir Ouspenski (SG USA), and Dr. Mari Kono (SGKK) attended. From NIMS side, Dr. Junichi Sone (Executive Vice President), Dr. Yoshio Aoki (Director of External Collaboration Division), Dr. Naoki Ohashi (Director of Energy and Environment Division) and Dr. Yoshio Matsui (Collaboration Coordinator) attennded.
After the summary of the management of the center for the last 6 months by Dr. Ohashi and Dr. Kono, Dr. Ouspenski reported recent results of FES research program with Dr. Shimamura of NIMS. The Committee also discussed recent activities of newly established UMI-LINK, for NIMS-SG-CNRS three-party collaboration.

The next 11th Steering Committee will possibly be held in early October in Paris, in conjunction with 350 years anniversary events of Saint-Gobain.
