最先端走査型プローブ顕微法をもちいた超高分解能計測とナノ材料開発

表面の構造や状態を実空間かつ超高分解能で計測できる走査型プローブ顕微鏡は、今日のナノサイエンスを支える重要な計測装置である。ナノプローブグループでは、超高真空・極低温・磁場中といった極限環境から雰囲気を制御した室温まで、様々な環境で動作する最先端の原子間力顕微鏡や走査型トンネル顕微鏡を開発しています。また、それらを用いた表面化学や表面物理の基礎学理を探究するとともに、電池材料などのオペランド電位計測技術を開発し、ナノ・量子・環境・エネルギー材料の開発に寄与することを目指しています。
