Welcoming Prof. Balasubramanian, Jacob, and Bhargav

We were delighted to host Prof. Krishna Balasubramanian from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), India, who gave a presentation at the MANA department seminar during his visit. Prof. Balasubramanian is the supervisor of Srest, and we thank him for sharing his insights with the group.

At the same time, we welcomed two new members joining the 2D quantum materials group under the supervision of Dr. Kitaura:

• Jacob Mittoo, from the Department of Physics at the University of Cambridge, UK, joining as a NIMS intern.
• Bhargav Jyoti Bora, a chemistry graduate student from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad), joining through the NIMS-ICGP internship program.

We look forward to working with Jacob and Bhargav and wish everyone a wonderful chapter ahead!
