Dr. Kozawa Receives the Young Scientists' Award from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology

Dr. Kozawa has been selected for the FY2026 Young Scientists’ Award (The Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) for his research on “Quantum Optical Functions in Low-Dimensional Nanomaterials”.

This research achieved the formation of quantum defects operating at room temperature in carbon nanotubes at an ultra-low density of one per micrometer, opening a breakthrough toward the practical realization of quantum communication.
