RCMB signed MOUs with Three Renowned Taiwanese Universities
Research Center for Macromolecules and Biomaterials(RCMB) signed Memorandums of Understanding with Three Taiwanese Universities2024.07.24
On April 17th, 2024, Research Center for Macromolecules and Biomaterials signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for research collaboration with the R&D Center for Membrane Technology at Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan.
Chung Yuan Christian University is one of the top private universities in Taiwan. The R&D Center for Membrane Technology was established in 2000 as a research center within Chung Yuan Christian University. Thin film materials play an important role in many R&D fields such as chemistry, energy, environmental protection, bioengineering, medical care, food and electronics. Through this international collaboration, the center promotes basic research on membrane materials developed at NIMS as well as research for their practical application.
On April 25th, 2024, Research Center for Macromolecules and Biomaterials signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for research collaboration with the Center of Applied Nanomedicine at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan.
National Cheng Kung University is one of the top 5 universities in Taiwan, and the Center of Applied Nanomedicine is focused on cross-disciplinary teams that conduct problem-based research targeting materials development and clinical needs as basic research. This is also in line with the direction of the biotechnology area of the Research Center for Macromolecules and Biomaterials. The two workshops have led to further discussions and confirmed the direction of international collaboration. It is hoped that this collaboration will promote research into the practical application of materials developed at NIMS.
On June 14th, 2024, Research Center for Macromolecules and Biomaterials signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for research collaboration with the Center of Applied Nanomedicine at National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan.
The i-Center for Advanced Science and Technology (iCAST) at National Chung Hsing University was established in 2003 to promote nanoscience and nanotechnology research and train future talents. NIMS has a history of hosting researchers and students from National Chung Hsing University in the field of polymers, and the international collaboration with this newly established center at NIMS is expected to greatly promote research for the practical application of materials developed at NIMS.
