Research Activities

The "Materials Life Time Estimation Group" is dedicated to the study on establishment of methods to estimate life time of materials used in many kind of environments - aqueous solutions, atmospheric environments, etc. - with studies on failure behaviors of materials and development of sensors. 　Main Subjects Subject1: Life Time Estimation of Metals Corroded in Atmospheric Environmen Subject2: Localized Corrosion of Corrosion Resistant Materials Subject3: Cathodic Protection of Metals by Photo Electrochemical Reactions on Oxide Semiconductor Electrode
