Background and Scope
The first international workshop on Risk-based Engineering was held at NIMS, Tsukuba, Japan on 15 March 2004. The scope of the workshop was to recognize state-of-the-art of Risk-based Engineering in the world. This workshop is the second event succeeding that meeting. The major object of this conference is to discuss the future direction or roadmap of Risk-based Engineering research and development among Korea, China, European countries, US and Japan.
