Three-dimensional
graphene architectures can deliver the extraordinary nanoscale properties of
individual graphene flakes to macroscopic scales. Here I will report a chemical
blowing approach to effectively synthesize a 3D graphene bubble network, which
opens up a wide horizon for the practical applications for high-power and
high-energy electrochemical capacitors. The boron nitride nanosheets are also
synthesized by such blowing method as well as by carbothermal
reduction, which are excellent fillers for thermal conductive composites.
