Development of Functional Nanomaterials by Using Dynamic Non-covalent Interactions

Shinsuke Ishihara

The use of non-covalent interactions, especially hydrogen-bonding, is a versatile approach to develop functional nanomaterials. In my presentation, I will summarize my research in MANA and ICYS since 2009. Representative examples are porphyrin sensor, exhaust catalyst based on copper oxide, and unique physic-chemical properties of layered double hydroxide.
