3D Graphene and BN Nanosheets: Chemical-Bubbling Synthesis and the Applications

The concept "3D-designed nanosheets" is most desired to overcome the current poor inter-sheet connections and to provide the continuous pathway for electron/phonon transports. Here I report a "chemical blowing" approach starting from polymeric predecessors to synthesize 3D strutted graphene, 3D BN as well as BN nanosheets. The 3D strutted graphene enables high power density discharge in their supercapacitor devices. The mass-produced BN nanosheets ensures and promotes polymeric composites for high thermo-conductive insulting packaging materials for the electronics.
