Oxidation temperature range covers over 500-585��. Sharp peak of oxidation, ��H��=-591.96J/g. Melting point of Mg, at 650��.
The enthalpy of formation
�@Product is MgO plus orthorhombic S. No reaction was observed between Mg and S. Probably starting old Mg powder was not good. Small amount of H2O was absorbed around Mg metal as a layer. Observed PXRD is the mixture of MgO + orthorhombic S.
