Dear friends in ASIAN workshop community,
Asian Workshop on First-Principles Electronic Structure Calculations has kept "no registration fee policy" till ASIAN-25. However, recent (economic) circumstance makes collection of sufficient financial support by the local organizing committee (LOC) quite difficult. Therefore, ASIAN-26 LOC has discussed with ASIAN workshop International Organizing Committee and confirmed that the "no registration fee policy" can be changed depending on the financial situation.
Eventually, in ASIAN-26, the registration fee, JPY 18,000, is applied to general (non-student) participants. However, we keep "no registration fee" for students as usual. We really hope your kind understanding, and look forward to many participants and presentations as usual.
Note that (discount) banquet fee is applied to both general participants andd students. We really hope many participants for their networking.

Instructions for Abstract Submission
All presenters except plenary speakers are required to prepare their abstracts using the designated template (DOCX format), available for download below, and submit it through the registration system. Please note that only PDF files will be accepted for submission. You may convert your DOCX file to PDF using Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or any free online converters. Abstracts that do not follow the required format may not be considered.
VISA
Japan is currently implementing a visa exemption policy for citizens of 71 countries and regions. Please refer to this page for the list of visa exempt countries and regions. Participants from these countries can enter Japan without a visa. However, participants from other countries are required to obtain a visa before entering Japan.
If you need a visa to enter Japan, please apply for it at the Japanese embassy or consulate in your country. If you need an invitation letter for your visa application, please send a request to with the following information: Full Name (as in passport), Date of Birth, Passport Number, Nationality, Affiliation.
