Research Summary A post doc position for fabricating novel Heusler alloys thin films and investigating their transport and thermoelectric properties such as spin-Hall effect and spin-Nernst effect. Final target is to elucidate the physical origin of the observed properties through the collaborating study with the members in the project.
Qualification
  1. Ph.D. in materials science, applied physics or physics
  2. Experience in thin film sample preparation as well as basic knowledge and research experience in Spintronics research field is desirable.
Starting Date August 2022 or later (negotiable)
Term 1 year (renewable up to 2 years with annual evaluation)
Work Place NIMS Sengen site (Tsukuba, Japan)
Work Hours 7 hours 45 minutes a day (negotiable as the flex-time system)
Holiday Saturday, Sunday, National Holidays and New Year holidays
