National Institute for Materials Science
NIMS announced that it will hold the NIMS Evening Seminar jointly with the Japan Federation of Engineering Societies, with the cooperation of the JIST Forum, beginning in October 2011.
Abstract
The National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS; President: Sukekatsu Ushioda) announced that it will hold the NIMS Evening Seminar jointly with the Japan Federation of Engineering Societies, with the cooperation of the Japan Interaction in Science & Technology (JIST) Forum, beginning in October 2011.
The NIMS Evening Seminar which begins in October is planned to enable active involvement in more advanced training of engineers and smoother two-way communications between researchers and seminar participants.
The NIMS Evening Seminar is certified as a materials fundamentals ECE program of the Japan Federation of Engineering Societies, and issues Engineering Capacity Enhancement program certificates to participants who meet certain conditions.
The general outline of the program is shown below (in principle).
