The National Institute for Materials Science (President: Prof. Teruo Kishi) recently issued “NIMS Corrosion Data Sheet No. 4A: Data Sheet on Atmospheric Corrosion Properties of Fe-P and Fe-Cu Binary Alloys “ as part of its efforts to improve the intellectual infrastructure under its Mid-Term Program.
The recently-issued data sheet clarifies the 3 year atmospheric corrosion properties of binary alloys in which P or Cu is added as a main alloying element to low alloy steel.
NIMS conducts business related to the issuance of data sheets in accordance with ISO 9001, “Quality Management System” (JIS Q 9001, “Quality Management System”). ISO 9001 certification was received on May 20 2002.
