Four researchers of Structural Metals Center were given "Magnesium Fundamental Research Award" at the 139th Annual Meeting and Exhibition of TMS in Seattle, Washington, USA.

(February 15, 2010) Dr. Alok Singh, Dr. Julian Rosalie, Dr. Hidetoshi Somekawa, and Dr. Toshiji Mukai at Lightweight Alloys Group of Structural Metals Center were given "Magnesium Fundamental Research Award" at the 139th Annual Meeting and Exhibition of The Minerals, Metals and Materials Society (TMS) in Seattle, Washington, USA. TMS is a professional organization headquartered in United States, that encompasses the entire range of materials and engineering, from minerals processing and primary metals production to basic research and the advanced applications of materials.
