Dr. Koinuma, former Director of Materials and Structures Laboratory, Tokyo Institute of Technology, and Dr. Noda, former Director-General of Materials Engineering Laboratory, were newly appointed as Vice Presidents of NIMS. Dr. Watanabe, former Vice President, became an Auditor.
Dr. Onodera, Dr. Ohno and Dr. Kumakura were appointed as Director-Generals of Materials Engineering Laboratory, Computational Materials Science Center and Superconducting Materials Center, respectively.
