The 3rd NIMS International Conference was held in Tsukuba
(Mar. 3-4, 2005) The 3rd NIMS International Conference on Materials for Human Safety was held in Tsukuba.
The aim of the conference was to explore research directions and challenges of materials for protecting human beings from various kinds of accidents and disasters, such as shock absorbing materials, high-damping materials and self-healing materials.
