Research Summary
  • Organic synthesis and preparation of organic thin films
  • Organic single crystal growth
  • Other necessary research-related work and work under the direction of superiors
Qualification PhD holder
Starting Date August 1, 2023 or after (negotiable)
Term 1 year from the date of appointment, renewable annually thereafter (maximum term of 5 years).
Work Place National Institute for Materials Science, Sengen site, Tsukuba,Japan.
Work Hours 7 hours and 45 minutes a day, 5 days a week, discretionary labor system (deemed working hours when applying the discretionary labor system are 8 hours and 15 minutes per day) ( negotiable )
Holiday Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and other days designated by the Organization
Salary / Supply According to NIMS contract staff salary provision (Commuting allowance and social insurance may be eligible)
Trial Period We set a probationary period by NIMS regulations.
Insurance Health insurance (MEXT Mutual Aid Association), Welfare Pension Insurance, Employment Insurance and Workers’ accident Compensation Insurance. You will be automatically enrolled in these insurances when working conditions meet the requirements.
