The 13th GREEN Symposium
- Designing of heat conduction and thermoelectrics on theory, synthesis and measurement -
New Center for Green Research on Energy and Environmental Materials:Greater GREEN was established in April, 2016, including the existing Global Research Center for Environment and Energy based on Nanomaterials Science.
Thermal Energy is a subject of this symposium with a subtitle of “Designing of heat conduction and thermoelectrics on theory, synthesis and measurement”. The ongoing research activities of heat conductive and thermoelectric materials on computational and experimental science in GREEN and NIMS are introduced, with invited lectures on superior research policy and achievements. The coming trend of finding new materials and controlling thermal flow will be discussed.
Progress reports by the guest researchers of the GREEN Open Laboratory, which is one of the very important projects of GREEN, are presented as before, as well as the GREEN Prize is granted at this symposium.
